How to Edit Video for Your Portable Device
With a small screen and inverted aspect ratio, creating and editing video footage for an iPhone or other device can be a challenge. Some video converter software will do the job for you. By clicking on a pop-up menu, these programs will let you choose which type of device you’re going to use the file on. The software then sets up the file to optimize for that device, including aspect ratio, resolution, and file format. Considering all the different types of formats and devices available today, a video file converter can save you time, and if you’re the type who gets frustrated easily, it can even save your sanity. Some software programs combine editing and file conversion capabilities in one package. These tend to have a higher initial cost, but when you consider the price of buying each program separately, you’ll see that it’s more cost effective to combine them. If you want high-end editing features, however, then you’ll have no choice but to buy a more elaborate editing package like Camtasia and get the converter program as an add-on. Fortunately, the latter tend to cost under $50, and their features are well worth it.
